Mr. Albert J. Mturi - Chairperson

Mr. Albert Joseph Mturi serves as the Chairperson of the Kilifi County Public Service Board. Mr. Mturi has over 20 years experience in the Banking industry. He has an extensive background in Finance and Banking, Administration and Organizational Development. He is an effective leader, able to motivate and inspire teams to reach their potential. He is highly organized and detail-oriented, and committed to delivering results.   His wealth of experience and dedication to service delivery led to his appointment to the position of Joint Secretary for Pending Bills Taskforce for the County Government of Kilifi in October 2022. Mr. Mturi is graduate in Business Administration, Micro-Finance and Banking.

Ms. Susan Kadzo Mumba – Vice Chairperson

Ms. Susan Kadzo Mumba serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Kilifi County Public Service Board. Ms. Susan is a highly experienced officer thanks to her many years of devotion and exemplary work performance in a number of esteemed public and private institutions. Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Susan served as an Assistant Lecturer at the Technical University of Kenya from 2011 to 2023. Other senior positions previously held by the officer include;- Lecturer, Strathmore University (2009 to 2011) Lecturer, Gretsa University (2007 to 2008) and Assistant Lecturer, Maseno University (2006 to 2007). Ms. Susan holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) and she is currenlty a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Kenya.

Dr. Francis Kalama Fondo, PhD - Board Member,

Dr. Francis Kalama Fondo serves as Member of the Kilifi County Public Service Board. Dr. Fondo possesses indisputable academic qualifications and vast experience in Finance Management, Corporate Governance and Human Resource Management. Prior to his current appointment, Dr. Fondo held various senior positions in a number of esteemed organizations including;- Member, Inter-governmental Relations Technical Committee (2015-2020),  Managing Director/Secretary to the Board, Kenya Coconut Development Authority (2011-2014), Deputy Director Finance and Administration, Kenya Wildlife Service (2006-2011), Managing Partner, Strategic Fit Management Consultant (2003-2005), Finance Director/Company Secretary, East African Cables Limited (1996-2003), Chief Accountant, Savings and Loans Limited (1988-1989), Financial Accountant, Welcome Kenya Limited (1985-1987), Lead Auditor, Deloitte & Touche (1984 - 1985), Associate Auditor, Deloitte & Touche (1980 - 1983). Dr. Fondo holds a PhD in Business Administration from Washington International University.

Mr. Attas Sharif Ali - Board Member

Mr. Attas Sharif Ali serves as a Member of the Kilifi County Public Service Board. Mr. Attas has a wealth of experience having served in various senior positions in different sectors including Education and Banking. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Attas served as the Executive Director, Malindi Education Development Association (MEDA) Foundation from 2013 to 2023 and also as a Chief Executive Officer in the same organization from 2004 to 2009. He also served as a Branch Manager, First Community Bank from 2009 to 2012. He holds a Bachelors degree in Business Management from the East African University.

Mrs. Maggy Adongo – Board Member

Mrs. Maggy Adongo serves as a Member of the Kilifi County Public Service Board. She is a results-oriented Officer, highly dedicated to seamless service delivery. Prior to her current appointment, Mrs. Adongo served as a Nutritionist at the Kilifi County Referral Hospital (2021 - 2022) and Malindi Sub-County Hospital (2017). She also worked for Hatua Likoni (a Non-Governmental Organization) as an Educator on Radicalization & Extremism in 2016. She has also worked for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) on contract basis. Mrs. Adongo holds a Bachelors Degree in Food Nutrition & Dietetics from Pwani University. She is a Professional Clinical Nutritionist registered by the Kenya Nutritionists & Dieticians Institute (KNDI).

Mr. Gideon Chilumo Mumba – Ag. Board Secretary/CEO.

Mr. Gideon Chilumo Mumba serves as the Ag. Board Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Kilifi County Public Service Board. Mr. Mumba has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Public Sector affairs, with over 20 years work experience as a dedicated Public Servant. He started his career in the Public Service with the former Local Authorities where he rose through the ranks to the position of Deputy Town Clerk. Some of the former Local Government establishments that he served include; the then Municipal Council of Mombasa, County Council of Malindi and the Town Council of Kwale. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Mumba served as the Director in charge of Administration Services at the Board. Mr. Mumba holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (Human Resource Management Option) from Kenyatta University, Certified Secretary qualification (Part I) and a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management (KNEC). He is a member of good standing at the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
